Frequently Asked Questions

Does diving require serious physical fitness?

No! Diving only asks for a healthy heart and healthy lungs. Recreational diving is a relaxing sport most people can enjoy, with no limits on age or fitness. If an existing condition worries you, we recommend consulting a sports-medicine doctor and doing a sports/diving medical exam.

Is diving dangerous?

Diving exposes you to risks you don't meet in everyday life — risks that are carefully studied and worked through during the course. Follow the simple, universal rules of diving and the risk drops to a minimum (the relative fatality risk is 1.8 per million dives — very small!).

Can I dive with a disability?

Yes! There are adapted programs that make diving safe for people with a range of physical disabilities. Alongside those programs, there is specialized equipment we can use to assist on the dive. Diving can bring a whole new freedom of movement — underwater you are weightless, "floating" through the water.

Can I really learn to dive well in landlocked Serbia?

Absolutely! Our instructors are top-notch and run excellent training — and beyond that, diving conditions in Serbia are often harder than at sea. Once you've learned to dive as a continental diver — in low visibility, through thermoclines, with tricky entries — diving in the sea feels easy!
